Introducing Sissi, Mikki,Lippy, and Fotzke

Some of you my dear friends in blog land I know have   animals. or rather

4 legged members of your family..

I thought today I would introduce you to 4 of mine….

meet my alpha cat Sissi…

she is mom and  hander out of paws when she deems necessary…..

looks innocent enough doesn’t she…….take my word…  She can be a meany

however she is the one that has taken to my mom like… bees to flowers..

mom calls sissi comes…. its amazing…

this is our Mikki… one of the gentlest male cats

I have ever met…… except when it comes to fighting his youngest daughter who  is here.

the one on the right with the white upper lip thing going on is lippy and if she where to be a child that’s the one that would have the lip…. into everything,..,, if something is on the counter she throws it off to feed the dogs… they love her… trust me… the one  that’s looking straight at the camera is Fotzke… little white  fluff on her chin 

and less white on her over all as lippy has,,,, well this is the one that mikki  fights with,.,, who knows why they don’t get along …. on a good day they ignore each other. a bad one  fur flies.. but we love them,,,,,fotzke is my baby even though she deems it ok to visit grandma and smooch if mom has no time and is cooking for instance…lol  but strange cat she is… hates it when my husband wears his hat… or his work clothes even when they are clean…lol

so you have met  our small 4 legged children,,,,, our 2 dogs are for another day

I have a question

Have any of you tried leaving comments and for some reason couldn't? My friend and fellow Blogger Doris of http://crochetingingeorgia.blogspot.com/ has tried 2 times and neither time was able to leave a comment.. I have turned off word verification to see if that helps....

Bet you all thought I had forgotten to Blog

Well I haven’t..lol I am around… still … doc appointments have kept me busy

then mom of course..

I read your blogs if not daily then every other day … love your stories of the crafting

you do and the visits you make….I share in your wonder of unique items you see and find

I am building your homes with you or remodel your rooms with you.

I am not a good writer…I don’t write funny or interesting the way some of you do.

But I am here. finished another hat the other day… working on another one.

Stopped at Jo-anns on my way to the docs today…

Got a Bargain………….. Bernat cotton yarn…. 100% 12 oz….variegated…… marked down from

$9.99 to $ 4.99………for 12 ounces can you believe it?? I can make tons of dishcloths from that.

and other goodies…

Anyhow gotta run for now… Will try to take some pics of the new hat and

post them

hope you all had a wonderful New Year

First I hope everyone had a wonderful start to the New Year.

Ours was quiet… which was nice.  I did have a couple  drinks  of Baileys

yummy..Don’t splurge much   on alcohol at all but I had a hankering..

Still have loads left since I am the only one that had any….

oh well… Working on my afghan and started a hat… Going to see if I like it

,,if not it gets frogged..I am a very fast frogger…lol

Had the afghan already up to 11 rows and frogged it all to restart it

with a larger crochet hook…..I do that all the time.

I just thought I would pop in shortly

As I sit here reflecting

with my morning coffee in hand about the last year I have many things that I have accomplished and that I am grateful for

Some small some larger….so let see if I can count the ways…..

I finally learned to loom knit..lol well not like  Anne Bipes or Isela or Brenda Myers and can’t forget Greg from  the loom dude but I  am I think accomplished on making hats …made a baby blanket on the loom for my 5th grandchild ( I used to never finish anything I started so this was way good.). Then I started back in crocheting again…

Health wise  I am grateful that this year was a good year only thyroid surgery and heart cath and stent behind me so I am so grateful for that.And my body not needing more is a good thing….lol

I have become more patient in many things of my everyday life. Accepting of the fact that I no longer can do things the way I used to and love it when I can. so I have accomplished the task of being more patient.. a good thing

No resolutions for the new year… I never keep them but I will try  to learn more about crocheting also to really start  learning different stitches in loom knitting… Live as healthy as possible…. And to support my husband  in all his endeavors. Spend as much time enjoying  my time with mom. and to continue to learn whatever I can about everything in life .

So with this my friends I leave you with  A Happy New Year 2011 may all your dreams and wishes come true…..
